Excellent quality Fleet Data Management - adas gps Fatigue driving camera DB-A502 – Dragon Bridge Detail:
I. Product Introduction
Roadragon DB-A502 is a product of forward vision early warning system based on machine vision, which can provide a driver with Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Urban Forward Collision Warning (UFCW), Virtual Bumpers (VB), Headway Monitoring and Warning (HMW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and other driving security alerting functions. This product performs real-time monitoring of the vehicle traveling state by means of a front-facing camera and an image processor and gives an alarm or alert in time in case of a dangerous state, so as to avoid the occurrence of traffic accidents.

First Use
1. Installation
When DB-A502 is installed, the camera should be fixed onto the central location of the front windscreen, that is, a left or right position within a range of 10 cm from the central axis of the vehicle will be allowed and a position closer to the center will be more desired.
Note: the camera cannot be blocked by windscreen wipers; for a vehicle with its engine projecting from the front windscreen, the installation location should be appropriately raised in order to ensure that the camera is not blocked by the front projection.
The power line, ACC signal line, turning signal line, and brake signal line are well connected. (There is no need to connect the signal line when a variety of signal lines are acquired through communications with other devices.)

2. Parameter Setting
Pre-download specific calibration software DB-A502 APP for mobile terminal of the ADAS product from ROADRAGON Vision.
Connect your phone to DB-A502 wifi hotspot named xCamera with the initial password of 12345678.
Open the software and set parameters according to the steps guided by the software until the setting is completed.
For detailed operating instructions, please refer to Annex 1: DB-A502 APP Instruction Manual.
IV. Function Description
1. Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
When the speed of a vehicle exceeds 30 Km/h, the FCW module will begin to work. When the vehicle has a larger speed than a vehicle in front and is likely to collide with it,DB-A502 will send out a warning at most 3 seconds in advance and the warning sound will be “beep, beep, beep~”.
2. Urban Forward Collision Warning (UFCW)
When a vehicle runs at a speed of less than 30 Km/h and moves close to another vehicle in front, the device will send out a sharp warning sound “beep, beep, beep” before a possibly imminent collision.
3. Virtual Bumpers (VB)
The device will send out a warning sound “beep, beep, beep” before a collision with the vehicle in front possibly resulting from a very low speed (car sliding).
4. Headway Monitoring and Warning (HMW)
When the speed of the vehicle exceeds 30 Km/h, the HMW module will begin to work. When the distance from the vehicle to another vehicle in front reaches the set Level 1 minimum distance, the device will send out a warning to remind the driver of the vehicle in front and the warning sound will be “beep~”; and when the distance from the vehicle to another vehicle in front reaches the Level 2 minimum distance, the device will send out a warning sound “beep, beep~” to remind the driver of a too close distance and the warning sound will be repeated at an interval of 5s until a safe distance is restored.
Warning: No matter whether the device DB-A502 sends out a warning or not, you (the driver) will be solely responsible for keeping a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
5. Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
DB-A502 will start the LDW module when the vehicle speed is higher than 50 Km/h, and when the driver departs from the lane unintentionally, the device will send out a warning and the warning sound will be “ding~ding~”.
The LDW module will not send out a warning in the following cases:
the turn signal lamp or hazard flasher is turned on when changing the lane;
quick lane switching is performed;
the driver steps on the brake when changing the lane;
the driver changes the lane in an acceleration or a deceleration state;
lane lines are not marked or are not clear;
f. the speed is less than 50 Km/h;
under adverse weather conditions.
Driving Video Recording
DB-A502 can record 1080P HD videos and perform automatic cyclic recording every 3 minutes and store data into the high-speed class 10 SD card.
Emergency Lockout
When the vehicle encounters severe turbulence or collision during traveling,DB-A502 can immediately lock the current video and will not delete it from cyclic recording.
8. Driving Behavior Detection
The DB-A502 can detect the Rapidly Speeding-up, Hard Braking, and High-speed Turning of the vehicle through built-in sensors.
9. Video Output
DB-A502 supports video output in CVBS format, or support the PAL (default) or NTSC system for video recording by DVR.
10. Volume Adjustment
The volume can be lowered or increased by repeatedly pressing the button (-) or (+) on the side of the product, respectively; and the volume is at five levels of from 1 to 5.
11. Serial Port Communications
DB-A502 can support RS232 and can communicate with other devices to transmit vehicle information and various alarm information.
12. Signal Input and Output
DB-A502 has 3-way signal inputs which can be connected to the turn signal and brake signal.
13. Mobile APP Linkage
An Android Phone may install ROADRAGON APP in “Road-Defend” and may be connected to the WiFi hotspot of the device, and then real-time video viewing and requesting of videos under History on demand can be achieved.
V. System Limitations
The DB-A502 system applies to asphalt roads with clearly marked lane lines.
1. The DB-A502 system cannot “watch” road conditions instead of the driver. The driver should always be vigilant while driving, and drive based on road conditions observed or heard by himself or herself;
2. The DB-A502 system can only detect the fully visible rear of a vehicle. Therefore, it cannot detect
those crossing, oncoming, or passing vehicles;
The DB-A502 system cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in detection of vehicles or driveway, or warning of potential road traffic injuries. In addition, recognition and response capabilities of the DB-A502 system may be greatly impacted by road, weather and other conditions. TheDB-A502 system may lose or decrease its functions under any circumstance where the vision of the camera is partially or fully blocked. Please ensure a clear view for the camera.
